Cara St.Louis is a writer, teacher, activist and speaker. Hailing from the American Southwest and infused with the old spirit of the sovereign individual, Cara has chosen to dedicate all her time and energy to waking people up. Author of Consolata’s Companion, The Sun Thief, and with Harald Kautz-Vella, Dangerous Imagination, Silent Assimilation. She is a former producer at The People’s Voice TV in London, as well as a frequent past contributor to Veteran’s Today.

“I was born at the stroke of midnight in September of the last year of the 1950s in a very small town on the Colorado side of the Four Corners. Grew up primarily in Albuquerque. I graduated with a BA from the University of Colorado…writing, film studies, comp lit…also German language studies. I am married to Sean, who I call the ‘mattress that stops the blast.’ I have three rabidly artistic children, one an actor, one a visual artist and one a filmmaker.

Recently my 120 year old Queen Anne (it was dilapidated, don’t be impressed) burned to the ground and so we are building on our property in the middle of nowhere with our own hands. I love dogs and chickens and ducks. I am a Waldorf teacher, as well, with an MEd from Antioch. I have worked as a traveling Waldorf teacher at pioneer schools from Maine to Kentucky.

I am interested in and enveloped by the esoteric nature of our existence. I also write, mostly fiction.”
