CHEMICAL WEAPONS TESTING ON ARMY VOLUNTEERS – U.S. MILITARY FILM

9 minute you tube on the history of CS Riot Control Gas, a tear gas commonly referred to as CS gas. The information of CS gas was exchanged with the United States and Great Britain.

This film shows the experiments conducted with army volunteers in an aerosol gas chamber designed to study the effects of proposed compounds, as well as field trials in tactical situations where grenades with a burning mixture were released on them.

The effects of CS gas were rapid and acutely painful effects on the volunteers; severe chest pains, labored breathing, severe irritation of the eyes, nose, throat, lungs, vomiting, nausea, incapacitation and disorientation.
