CNN reporting on the FDA clearing the way for cloned milk and meat and is finalizing it’s own risk assessment.
In a 2006 press release the FDA states their findings were peer reviewed by a group of independent scientific experts (two scientists had cloning patents) and that cloned products were deemed safe.
The FDA states that the cloned products would not require labelling because the food stuffs would be so similar to the real thing.
